What is Sorig, the traditional herbal lore of Tibet?

Sorig is the traditional herbal lore of Tibet, developed over centuries and still alive today. It combines close observation of nature with knowledge handed down about herbs, minerals and plant oils. This knowledge has been passed on through generations and is recorded in ancient Tibetan texts.

We source every product in this collection directly from the Men-Tsee-Khang, the institute where the knowledge of the Sorig tradition is preserved and passed on.
