Tibetans generally embellish their home shrine by spreading their sacred objects on silk brocade. This high-quality double-layered cloth is handmade in a small family business in Nepal. The inner lining is cotton and the outer layer is silk brocade with a patchwork. A patchwork combination of blue, white, red, green, and yellow symbolizes the Buddhist five elements (air, fire, water, earth, and space).

You can use this high-quality silk brocade cloth for the altar, as a tablecloth, as a wall hanging, or simply as a home decoration.
