The green Tara amulet is made of an image of green Tara and Tara Mantras which are rolled up with a colorful thread and sealed in a protective plastic cover.

An amulet is a wearable object that is believed to have magical powers to bring good luck (energetic, sacramental effect) and protect against harm. Tibetan amulets are more than just a piece of jewelry. They require respectful handling. You can wear the amulet on your body (as a pendant) or put it under your pillow or in your car to be blessed by its effect.

Green Tara is a female, peaceful Buddha and Bodhisattva, and is the main form in the mandala of 21 Taras, each expressing different facets of their Buddha activity. She is said to have a special quickness in fulfilling wishes and protecting against danger, which is symbolised by her sitting posture ready to stand up.
