Handcrafted Tibetan conch trumpet with double Dorje carving. Traditional ritual instrument for meditation and ceremonies. Made by Tibetan artisans in Nepal.
In Tibetan tradition, the conch trumpet, called Dung-Kar, embodies the sound of the Dharma teachings. Its deep, resonant tone has been used for centuries in monasteries and ceremonies to purify sacred spaces and deepen meditative states.
This conch trumpet is crafted by Tibetan artisans in Nepal from a sacred conch shell. Particularly remarkable is the elaborate double Dorje carving. The Dorje, the diamond sceptre, symbolises indestructibility and spiritual power in Buddhism. The double Dorje enhances this meaning and represents perfect harmony and stability.
Its sound is considered purifying and is used to energetically cleanse spaces and accompany meditation. Each piece is unique.
