In Tibetan Buddhism, Sangye Menla, the Medicine Buddha, is a symbol of healing, inner balance, and compassion. His statue has held a place on altars for centuries, a reminder of the connection between body and mind.

This statue was crafted in copper and hand-painted by Tibetan artisans in the Himalayas. The body carries the deep blue of lapis lazuli, traditionally associated with Sangye Menla, while the face is finished in fine gold. The red and gold robe and the richly detailed lotus base reflect careful craftsmanship.

In his right hand, he holds the myrobalan healing plant. In his left, a begging bowl filled with healing nectar, both signs of his power to ease suffering. His mantra, Tayatha Om Bekandze Bekandze Maha Bekandze Radza Samudgate Soha, has been recited for generations for healing and inner balance. On an altar or meditation space, this statue becomes a quiet companion for anyone seeking peace and healing.
